I LOVE this game! I'm a veteran fitness person - work out EVERYDAY and this game rocks. I wanted to add that for anyone who thinks it's a game for the "exercise novice" - it's not.
I actually run/jog throughout the session rather than walk and have done it on my rebounder too. There are a lot of ways to use this game so it does not get boring at all.
Time flies when you are doing it and it can be a calorie scorcher (refer to the run/jog comment). I wear a BodyBugg and track my caloric burn - I burn A LOT more calories doing this than the game tells me I'm burning (fine with me - BB is more accurate). In a 1.5-2.0 hour session (yes, it's that easy to burn time with this game) I can burn 700-900 calories easily.
The only thing I'd change about it is the disappointing "reaction" of the island to finishing it. I thought there would be a party - there's not. That would have been a nice touch. They celebrate rainbows and constellations but not actually building the entire island.
This game has infinite possibilities for new versions - different settings, cities, etc. I hope Konami is planning on new versions of this game!
I find this a go-to cardio workout (especially when you are just burned out on the stuff you have been doing). It's a great deal of fun and no slouch of a workout if you put some "muscle" into it!Get more detail about Walk It Out.
