First off Im 36 and I dont typically write reviews, but I like this game so much, I decided to do so. It truly feels like a movie that you play! Highly recommended! The sword play is so real and unique... you can do this with any other consel.

Its a great game...love the sword action, and gun action. Its a good time. I dont consider myself a gamer at all. Most games I play are alot of fun at the beginning..but then they get too hard. eventually, I just stop playing cuase its not fun anymore. Not this one though. The way I explain it is that its hard enough to keep your interest, but not so hard that you hate it.

I like the game play. You dont just run around and shoot a bunch of people. Its more of a skill...if you can it that. You stun people, then use special-moves to finish them off. There a small cut-scene for every kill...but its not annoying as you may think.. Its actualy pretty cool, and only lasts for a fraction of a second.

I really do enjoy this game! Great fun!

I thought maybe that I liked it cause I am an ametuer non-gamer. But my buddy that is an avid gamer played it...and cant put it down either.

I must say I was a little sckeptical when I put this one in the Wii because we had just played the awful THE PRICE IS RIGHT (Wii version) - but pleasantly enough - this game was fun, sharp and really passed the time away quickly.

This is a very well put totgether game. Excellent graphics, familiar music and of course the excitment of the various quesitons and trivia that make this game so much fun to watch.

Complete with regular rounds, bonus rounds, double rounds, tripple rounds - and my personal favorite - the "Fast Round" - this game seems to cover all subjects and genres as far as trivia/survey's.

My only criticism is that the Characters are a little stock and stiff in the movements and appearance, but once you get used to your 'given' Avatar - the game is a great joy. They should have allow the game to use your own Mii's. Then it would have been perfect!

After playing games that make you think and work really hard to stay alive, this simple mixed RPG and fighter game is great for children and adults who would like to have fun, relax, and stay stress free. With so many games focused on just staying alive, it's refreshing to be able to sit back and just play a simple RPG-style game by digging for food and plants, catching animals, and talking to other characters.

The problem is that it is TOO simple. Because the world is so tiny and the varieties so limited, it gets tedious after a few hours of gameplay.
Most of the game is training (as in the game title) your dragon to level up to fight in the tournaments. The training is very step by step and guided, as are the quests.
Fortunately, you can customize your dragon, but it is again, very limited. There are mostly only four different styles per dragon part. The best part of dragon customization are the stats, which actually do make a difference.

There are also minigames which are a much more fun way to train your dragon. But again, they do get slightly monotonous when training all four dragons on the same ~6 minigames.

This game fixes a lot of what was kind of annoying in the first one. There's no more tedious motorcycle riding around the city. The first time that I really sat down and watched the Biggest Loser (BL) it was one of the most inspirational shows I had ever seen. I was out of shape, certainly nowhere near any of the contestants, but not where I'd like to be. I started working out, particularly when watching the show, on an elliptical and with weights. After a few months of working out regularly and eating healthier I was down 40 lbs and back to my college weight and feeling better than I had in years. Was BL the reason for my weight loss, no, diet and exercise were, but BL was definitely the inspiration for it.

Now to the game, I find Bob and Jillian to both be very inspirational in their own ways so the idea of having them on the screen talking to me was very appealing and from that perspective the game is great, the problem lies in the fact that it is just a game and there are a limited number of phrases available (if I have to hear Bob call me "overweight lover" one more time I may go nuts, though it was funny the first few times). The exercises are more or less standard calisthenics that you'd find in almost any exercise video with of a few of Bob's favorites tossed in (i.e. skaters and axe chops). The weigh ins are a great idea to stay with the theme of the show, but they were inconsistent (i.e. losing 1 lb one week you'd win the week and losing 1 lb another week and you'd be below the yellow line). Also, the challenges, though a nice break from the standard workout are far too limited and and the few challenges that there are start to get really old after only a few times.

Overall the game is good, though probably not as good as Wii Fit, and almost any fitness gadget or tool can be either wonderful or completely useless depending on if it actually inspires you to want to work out.Get more detail about The Biggest Loser.

Having played several games in the Final Fantasy series, I wasn't quite sure what to expect with this game. What I got was an adventure-type story game, with a great fighting aspect in it, as well.

Setting-The Lilty kingdom holds dominion over all over tribes, but they aren't evil. However, the Selkie tribe bears a grudge against them, and refuses to live with them by living on land apart from the Lilty tribe. The Clavats are a peace-loving tribe that tries to get along with everyone. The last tribe, the Yuke tribe, vanished years ago, never to be found. You play as Layle, a Clavat crystal-bearer. A crystal bearer has a crystal embedded in them, giving them powers for them to use for good or evil.

Story-While you are escorting an airship, it is attacked by a Yuke, who steals the crystal power from the airship then takes off. You chase after the Yuke, using your powers to try to find out why it stole the crystal's power and what it plans to do with the crystal's power.

Gameplay-The gameplay is a little hard to learn, but once you do learn it, it's quite easy. You use the attached nunchuk to move around, and you use the wiimote to pick up items/people/monsters using your mind. This is your "special ability" because of being a crystal bearer. You can then throw the item you picked up at anything you would like to by using a flick of your wrist, allowing you to break open things and attack monsters. In fact, throwing monsters and throwing things at monsters are the only ways to fight in this game. However, you are not required to fight in this game (except for special, main battles); that is not how you level up. You level up by finding items and money and having moogles (white, flying creatures) make things such as amulets for you, in order to raise attack, defense, luck, and more. However, the majority of the game is to go from town to town defeating "main" enemies, following the Yuke, and basically keeping the story going.

Graphics-The graphics are very well done in this game. From the backgrounds to the tiniest details, these pictures are beautiful.

Sound-The music is nicely done in this game, overall, but it does get a bit boring, as the same songs are repeated over and over. The voice acting is very nicely done, as well.

Fun-This game is really fun. Whether you enjoy fighting or following an adventure story, this game will be great fun. It isn't boring like the gamecube version; instead, it has a very interesting story and nice combat.

Length-The one reason I took off a star is because of the length. Although, some people have said it lasted longer for them, it only took me about 15 hours to complete this game. That was really short, in my opinion, and unfortunately, I don't feel a strong need to replay the game. There are some extra goals that will keep some gamers playing after the final battle, such as finding the hidden item here, or using this monster to defeat this monster, but as for the main story, it is over rather quickly.

This Wii game is made up of tons of mini games. It's great for kids that have short attention spans and want to try a lot of different things. Not so great for kids that like to start a game that progresses and has levels. I found that it leads to arguments between my kids with choosing which game they are going to play since they are so short. Some of the games are easy enough for my 4 yr old to play and others are a little tricky, but overall I'd say that it's good for all ages, even young ones. 2010 FIFA World Cup Get it now!

I like the fact that you could use the new Classic Controller Pro, and that you could play any country in the world. The main thing that's annoying is shooting at goal. I was looking for a setting to change the way shots are presented. I saw some unfavorable reviews for FIFA 10 regarding this horrendous way of shooting the ball at the goal. Every shot seems unrealistic, like as if it's going 110 miles an hour. I don't see many finesse shots, like in real life, on the ground, swerves, deflections, or chip shots. You can adjust to chip it, and it looks all right. Then the shot is shown in slow motion. How annoying. The replay looks so much better. I have only played against the CPU, and the opposing team will take the hardest possible shot from 30 or 35 yards out. Remember, the box is at 18 yards out in real life. My goalkeeper can't even catch it from 35 yards out. That is very unrealistic. In real life, a keeper could most likely control it from that far out. Plus, on corners, the players do acrobatic and bionic looking shots. I think this series of games has devolved. What is the EA brand thinking? Endless Ocean: Blue World Decide Now

I am totally hooked on this game. I've been playing video games since Pong, Odyssey and Atari 2600, so I'd say I have some experience.

Pros:
The graphics are excellent (for a Wii). For instance, watch the water when you are interacting with a dolphin partner (training or giving a show), especially when s/he enters the water after a jump. Or watch the diving boat rise and fall with the waves, when it's at the dock.

It is totally unbelievable how interesting this game is and how many features it has. There are hundreds of species of fish/birds/mammals to "collect" in my handbook. There are 200 salvage items to pick up + 100 coins I have to find.

I have to collect different styles of haircuts and pieces of clothing/diving gear. I have to collect pieces of maps until they are complete and interact with every different species of animal. I have to build a coral reef and train multiple dolphins different tricks. I have to take pictures and submit them to magazines for publishing. I have to design exhibits in an aquarium. I have to earn and be awarded 155 different titles. I can take visitors on diving tours and take orders to search for hidden treasure.

You can change your clothing and hairstyle, take a shower, nap in a hammock, build a bonfire and sit and watch the coastline. Not only that, but you can earn a jukebox and change the background music. (I read somewhere that you can load MP3's onto an SD card and play your own music, but I haven't tried this yet.) Most of these options either help you to earn, or spend, money.

There are multiple story lines that can be taken in or out of order, which is a blessing, because some of the puzzles are a little difficult to figure out. So it would be nice to have some type of game guide made.

If you look at all of the awards you can earn, you'll see that this game will take a very long time, if you wish to get every one. (I still have to earn 1 million 'dollars,' which I then have to spend and then will have to earn 2 million more to earn another one of the titles. I only hope it means I have to earn a total of $2 mil, not have that much in the bank at once.

Cons:
After a while, it gets a little monotonous, however. Especially if you play more than a couple of hours a day. Plus, you'll probably get tired of having to watch EVERY VISITOR arrive on a jet ski without being able to click past the scene.

The game does promote evolution in some of the comments, which I don't personally believe, so that's a little bit of a pain. I'd consider that minor, though.

Plus, when you have to find and heal some animals, the game makes the cause "those thoughtless humans." Granted, humans have polluted and continue to pollute the earth, for the most part, but humans are also the only creatures doing anything about it.

The game is a little unrealistic:
-You meet dolphins around the world (the Arctic, the Antarctic and the Amazon, to name a few) and just kidnap them back to your tropical paradise/base of operations. So this only supports the other side of the "thoughtless human" theme. As in, "Oh, yeah. I befriended a dolphin. Let me take him home whether he wants me to or not. Not to mention whether he can thrive or even survive in water that is a different temperature from his normal habitat."

-Not to mention, all of the ladies/men that come to the island have "perfect 10" bodies. I mean, seriously, where are the beer-bellies & baby-weight?!

-I won't even mention the unrealism of the Pulsar, as this has been mentioned in other reviews.

It seems almost impossible to get an A or B grade on the photo publishing. And you have to get 20 of these to win one of the awards. Really, some of the fish you can only zoom in so far, and they still say that you need to focus on the subject. C'mon!

Finally, this game can take over your life, if you let it. There are so many requests coming in (dolphin show requests, salvage requests, guided-tour requests and picture requests) that you can't do them all, but if you try, you spend all of your time doing that and not doing any diving.

Having recently purchased the Classic Controller Pro I am still disappointed. For someone with smaller hands, it becomes very uncomfortable (to the point of painful) to reach the X and Y buttons because the R/L buttons prevent you from having your hand in a comfortable position and force you to slide your hand further down the controller. I am only able to play for very short periods of time because of the design of the controller. I have never had any problems with any other controllers manufactured by Nintendo. Guessing maybe the game needed to reset, we powered off the Wii console, and restarted the game, with the same results. On the 2nd attempt, we did get a song selected, and my wife attempted to play/dance. It was a horrible mess. It was then we discovered the left arrow on the controller pad was causing the game to scroll everything to the left. Unplugging the pad stopped the scrolling, plugging it back started it again. The controller pad looks to be a weak spot for the game. The vinyl looks like it would not stand up to much dancing. Cheap Aerobics Step Platform for Wii Fit

I just received this product today and so far I think it works well. The added height really enhances my workout. It was really easy to assemble, but it does seem a bit flimsy until you put the Wii balance board on it. It is mainly the center cross-piece/spacer that is flimsy (and your balance board doesn't actually rest on this piece, it rests upon the two side pieces). The two side pieces seem sturdy. I would have rated this even higher if it was either a bit more sturdy for my peace of mind or if it was cheaper to better reflect the flimsy quality.

As far as properly registering weight and steps...if you use a sleeve/cover with your balance board, then you may have to modify the riser in order for your weight and steps to register correctly. I use a silicone sleeve on my balance board and when I originally set my board on the riser my weight came in at 56 pounds less than it does without the riser and only my initial step onto the board would be counted when doing the step aerobics games. After reading the other reviews here I put quarters in each of the foot holes of the riser and my weight was spot on and my steps were counted properly. I took the silicone sleeve off my balance board and took the quarters out of the foot holes of the riser and my weight and steps were measured correctly.

Buying My Fitness Coach

I really like this game. I am currently using My Fitness Coach every other day for a weight loss goal. Maya (the trainer) does a good job of warming you up, working you out, and then cooling you down. I do not mind the fact that this does not use the balance board. I have joint issues and need to modify my work outs (i.e. I can't move side to side due to hip bursitis). I adjust and do something forward and back instead. My Fitness coach allows you to choose a different concentration for each day. The game also works with equipment that you already own, so you do not need to buy anything special. I think it will be a long time before I am bored with it.

Right now I am only doing 15 minute workouts and am combining this with another fitness game. If you are looking for a well rounded workout program, My Fitness Coach is for you.
