I'm new to the clash of ninja series, but familiar with the Ultimate Ninja series. This game has a similar style to Mortal Kombat (3D releases) with 3D scenarios, in screen items (you can hide and or attack from them) and 2/3 rounds per fight with just 1 "Life gauge" (these are perhaps the biggest differences with the Ultimate Ninja series). Now, let's go to the point:
The Good:
-Has good graphics.
-Fast paced battles.
-Great Multiplayer.
-Really fun!
-Lots of game modes.
-35+ characters!
-Multilingual TEXT sets according to the Wii's menu language.
The Bad:
-Getting used to the wii-remote & nun-chuck controller scheme is hard, but it is the only way to do increased damage combos.
-Story Mode = Mission: Imposible #
The Horribly Bad Things!:
-Who had the funny idea of using the same button to do a hard attack an a 75% chakra consuming substitution jutsu!? (you'll get it when you are saving chakra to do a jutsu and your character goes spending it all)
-2 vs 1 is cheap, specially if the 2 character regains health when outside of combat...
-Only English audio track is included (It is a sin not to include the Japanese audio track in this kind of games)
Note:
Yeah, the game includes 35+ characters, but only 8 are available from the start...
